Tristan made it safely!!

Now I can breathe normally! Phew!

I never sleep well when I ship my critters. Definitely a day for a nap.

Bon Voyage, Tristan!!

Note: this was supposed to post Wednesday night. Tristan is about to be picked up (Thursday morning).

Tristan is headed to his new forever home  tonight!

Sending my prayers and love with this little guy!

Special Shipping

Akime & Lotus are headed to a chameleon sanctuary in California tonight. I made specialized travel cups for them.

House of Chameleons took Newt last year and adopted my two baby tortoises this past summer. I trust them completely and these two girls will be so happy there.

Dragon Made It!!!

He doesn't seem to be too affected by the trip. That's his usual "Grumpy Face."

Clack is still looking for his forever home. He is positive for Adenovirus so he can only go to a home without other beardies. Let me know if you're interested. I'm able to ship overnight within the continental US only.

Nova Update

Nova is headed to his new home in Florida tonight. He was not happy for me to pick him up and put him in a box.

See?

Shipping is SO stressful! I'll end up checking the FedEx tracking app every few hours until he arrives safely. Once he's "home," my stress level will go back to normal.

Safe travels, Nova! Be a good boy!

Peanut is Home!

After a stressful night with not enough FedEx updates, Peanut made it home!

Hooray! Have a great life, sweet Peanut!

Bon Voyage, Peanut!

The weather finally warmed enough to ship Peanut to his new home in Arizona.

Shipping reptiles = sleepless night for me. Especially when FedEx doesn't scan his box's barcode when he departs the Salt Lake airport. :(

Every time I ship one of my critters, I think "I'm never doing this again!" This is shipment number 5. Shipping ranks up there with "No iguanas in rescue" and "Never taking in a red earred slider." ;)

I'll feel much much better when Peanut has safely arrived at his new home. Until then, I'll try to sleep instead of compulsively checking my FedEx tracking updates.

Mooshy made it!!

After a very long, sleepless night for me, Mooshy made it to his new home. For some reason, FedEx didn't scan the package after I dropped it off and there were no updates until 4:24 am my time when it arrived in Memphis. They have never done that before and it had me freaking out, wondering if he was still in Salt Lake.

But he's home now! And I can breathe and take a nap.

Bon Voyage, Mooshy!

Mooshy is on his way to his new home in Oklahoma. Every time I ship a reptile, I think "This is too stressful!! I can't do it again!"

And then I find the most perfect homes for my guys in other places. And I make the trek back to the Fed/Ex hub where I send my guys off. And I sleep poorly and check the website for updates on where he is.

This is him before I packed him up. Look at his skin! It's almost normal now! Woo hoo!

Be safe, Moosh! You're going to be adored without measure.

Ginny made it safely!!

Ginny is now in her forever home and will be spoiled beyond measure. :)

Phew! What a relief! Shipping is so stressful for me. I don't text until they arrive safely at their new home.

Ginny is Headed Home!!

Last week, Ginny got clearance to be shipped to her new home in Florida. She was healed and healthy and ready to go!!

Tonight was the night.

It's so hard shipping! I worry all night about my critters and can't relax until they make it safely.

Ginny got packed with her soft blankie and will sleep the whole way there.

She'll arrive in Florida tomorrow morning by 9:30 am.

Once she gets there, Ginny will have an amazing life with her new owner. I am confident that this is the right thing for her to live a very happy life.

Stink Eye

Remember back when Ramses (the Evilen Froggen) gave me the stink eye?

Well, tonight I got the stink eye from Miss Prissy Pants. She was NOT amused when I put her in her shipping cup.

Sorry, Baby! And, knowing me, I'll stress about the Diva Prima Donna until she arrived safely in her new home. :)
