Updating

I've been posting info on my Instagram account and then forgetting to update my blog! So be sure to follow me on INSTAGRAM or on my Facebook page to get more up-to-date info.

I'm going to update my blog right now. :)

New Phone App

My life has been more difficult since Blogger stopped updating their app for my iOS system and I can't blog from my phone! I end up doing most of my updates on Instagram and posting them to my rescue page on Facebook.

I bought BlogPress this morning, but it won't let me upload photos. Ugh!

So bare with me as I try to figure out how to blog from my phone.

Snake Drama

Somehow this morning between my morning check and coming back to clean her cage, baby Star wrapped herself around the temperature gauge in her tank, pulled it off, and got herself stuck to the adhesive.

Thank goodness for a Facebook post a few weeks ago that taught me to use coconut oil to remove snakes from sticky rat traps. 

I used Shed Aid with no success and then coconut oil which was successful. I had olive oil in reserve just in case. It took a few minutes to work her skin free and, though it was stretched out, it did not rip.  

Phew! Thank you Facebook!

I'm way into Facebook and post all my updates on my FB page   I'm going to try to do a better job of being on Twitter & Instagram because I've been missing SO many of your pics. I want to see all your babies whether they are in one of my Etsy costumes or not!

My Favorite Facebook Pages

There's a couple groups that I love to follow on Facebook and I thought I'd share them with you.

My favorite "Vet Surgery" page is "The Reptile Doctor." He's an exotics vet in Australia and he posts pictures of his cases complete with surgeries and descriptions. If you don't like surgery pics, don't like his page. :)
